The Ad-comm Group began with the founding of Ad-media in 1987 by Andreas Dannenberg with a vision of an independent, international agency in Japan that relies on global best practices as its benchmark to serve the needs of both Japanese and foreign-based clients. For almost two decades, Ad-media has been providing clients with in-depth knowledge of the Japanese market and the local ways of doing business, while providing innovative, global approaches to both our clients' domestic and international communications needs.

BUILDING THE GROUP

As Ad-media's presence grew, so did the needs of its clients, and Dannenberg built on this success to create the Ad-comm Group as a way to offer fully integrated communications solutions for its growing roster of multinational clients.

In addition to advertising programs created by Ad-media, the group now houses a full-service PR agency, a brand consultancy, an event planning and production company, an investor relations firm, a digital media production company, and a business-to-business focused digital and print content production company.
